Hello, and welcome to CAG Ohio. My name is Vince Shiflet and along with Bill Stoltz, we are the State Representatives. The state of Ohio is very plentiful in fishing venues, helpful members and of course CARP!

A schedule is discussed, composed and posted for all members to see at the beginning of the year. Our fish-ins stretch from as far north as Lake Erie, to as far south as the Ohio River and everywhere in between. If you are a member or are wanting to become apart of this great group, there will likely be a location scheduled in your neck of the woods. If that's not enough to coerce you to attend events, how do bank side cookouts sound? With every fish-in we discuss dinner plans for Saturday evening. Hopefully I have your attention now.

Here in Ohio, we have great members that are both knowledgeable and helpful to new members and veterans alike. Whether it be at fish-ins or friendly meet and greet sessions, our members will be sure to provide new anglers with a bounty of information to help them become better carp anglers.

Now lets talk about the Carp. Ohio has both numbers locations and places that hold some big fish over 40lbs. If you're looking to go out and have a great time catching tons of fish or willing to invest time into looking for those monsters, we have it all!
