  1. Ladies and Gentleman, It has been an honor to serve as your President for the last few years. It is now time to find new candidates, with fresh new ideas, who would like to fill my seat and help lead CAG into the future. I can tell you from my own personnel experiences that you will be challenged, you may face some frustrations but at the end of the day you will have the chance to help guide this great organization and work side by side with a dedicated group of outstanding BOD members. Please feel free to call me and I will answer all your questions about the position. You can reach me at (315) 323-4632 Any and all members may apply. If you want your name considered please submit to the directors cagstaff@carpanglersgroup.com , a 1 page platform statement outlining your reasons for seeking the CAG Presidency and list your intended objectives for the position. I would Like to have the statements into the BOD NLT April 7, 2016 Sincerely Bob Giordano (AF Bob)

  4. I wanted to thank Willem for the outstanding job he does for us here at CAG. He works many hours behind the scenes to make sure that we all stay connected online. This included tech issues, queries, complaints and he also designs our outstanding page and keeps it up and running. He does the job of 10 as a single volunteer! Thanks From All Of US AF Bob

  8. I just got back from a great trip to the 2015 CCC. I wanted to thank Bill Hodge and his crew of volunteers for putting on a great event. The fishing proved to be very tuff but a big 38 pounder was landed at the event. I didn't manage to land a fish at the event but I did have a great time seeing old friends, making new friends and telling many fishing tails. Fun for all! Please make plans to attend next year. Some Highlights: Biggest Carp landed at a CCC (38lbs) Two PB's landed by two new members of CAG A First for the Champion of the Queen. (Won by Horace and his dog Max) Great Tackle Swap meet with CAG gear Fish-In held prior to the event Youngest CAG member to fish CCC (6yrs old) See Next Year Bob
  9. Please help me congratulate our 2015 winner of the Champion of the Queen, Mr.. Horace Lafavor. He is better know to all as The OL Captain. He has spent many years promoting carp fishing and bringing smiles to the faces of the people who shared his adventures on the bankside. His actions have made CAG a better place and helped promote the sport of carp fishing. AF Bob PS: Max showing great carp care.
  10. We are currently seeking active members who have some free time and may want to consider taking on some additional duties with the BOD. Many members of our BOD are wearing multiple hats making sure that are current programs and events continue to run smoothly. Please feel free to give me a call at 315 323-4632. 11. I enjoyed every page. Great Job Dean!!
  12. I feel I needed to address this after reading some of the posts on our website. Being a member of CAG is not a right, it is a privilege afforded to friends , that want to fish and communicate with each other about the sport of carp fishing. We all need to treat each other with respect when posting our thoughts on our webpage. We welcome all opinions, and questions but they must be done in a way that doesn't embarrass our group in public. Many sponsors, groups and kids view our page. Comments that are posted can change their view of our group. This includes government agency's and national sponsors. Please keep that in mind before you make comments that cant be retracted! CAG is about fun, friends and the greatest sport fish in the world. The rest can be expressed somewhere else on the internet Thanks AF Bob

  16. We will have 100 kids fishing. It would be great to have some of our members there to help marshal and teach the kids about our sport! This is a great opportunity to get young anglers in our group and sport
