  2. Good to be back. Took a couple years off from burn out but ready to hit it hard this year. Take care
  3. Hello. I let my membership lapse a few years ago and just rejoined today. I was a long time member and would like to know if I could use my old account. I was known as "The Carpinator". Thx for the help.
  4. The lighting fast delivery is what keeps me coming back. Order on Wedsnday and your ready for the weekend. I just wish he had some more Mistrals...in all flavors.
  5. Rod....bring me 2 and maybe you and John will get a productive peg at the Invitaional...
  6. Yes....the arrowhead mills brand. I use Kelloogs Corn Pops alot but prefer the puffs for wild carping. Ill give the sugar smacks a try though.
  7. Only one complaint Tim....how about carrying corn puffs? They are hard to find in some states. I have yet to find them in Indiana.
  8. All the good looking paylakers have went euro.......
  9. El Dorkio the Blankio...... Yeah Right!!!! Man....the only reason you're going with Gilley is cuz I can't. Betch next year you'll be where I'll be this year. Watching from the sidelines. Only difference is Gils got a chance at winning next year.
  10. When you look past the end of your nose I think you see a dark crevice with a wierd smell. Yes, that right, that echo you hear when you talk is the echo coming from your butt, because that is where your head is. Philly I've got $20 in my pocket that says you don't have the stones to say that to his face should you ever meet him. Small World this carp game you know! Karl Great Post! Really advances the CAG objectives and makes the forum a better place! Way to Go! Likewise Pat!!! Do you mean the initial dig by Matt, or the reply by Chris or my bit?? Or are you just referring to all of them, if so then the word you bshould have used was posts (plural!) Karl I think all of ya suck. Especially paylakers. (J/K)
  11. I've only been out once man! Cut me some slack. I don't get to globetrot like you have this year so far. Maybe you can stop in Indy on yer way to Texas and pick me up. I just need ya to buy the gas, food, hotel bill, fishing licsense and give me a weeks pay that I'll miss.
  12. "I never said paylakers wont do well..." Yes ya did...see above.. Hey Man.....Don't be messing with the quote box! At least they're not "portly". (j/k)
  13. I'm done with this thread guys. I never said paylakers wont do well. I said that in my opinion I dont think pack and pickups will do well at this particular venue. That just how I feel. If everybody wants to make it look like something it was'nt...I really don't care. Ive caught fish upto 29lbs on a piece of yellow plastic but I would most deffinatly bring what the locals are using to any place I've never fished before.
  14. Sorry Neil, I wasn't trying to put this off on you (didn't mean for it to sound that way). I was just wondering what your thoughts would be about doing this for possibly the next ATC or other future events. And to everyone else....anyone bringing any extra gear to the ATC? Though it is short notice, perhaps there will be a few things traded around or sold. Hey....maybe I can buy some gear off of the winners.....HAHAHAHAHA THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT IS HELPING TO SPONSOR THE ATC!! Paul - I will have a spare couple of Diawa Whisker Kevlar 12ft 2.75 TC rods with me that you can use for the event - did you have a pod, if not I can lend you one of those too (Amiaud Peche, no buzzers) PM me if you are interested. Your allright Keith.
  15. Danny, I might not be able to take ya on euro tactics on a paylake but the ol' Carpinator dont use dat stuff at the paypond. Pack and puffs for me thank you. My soybean meal has a secret ingredient in it that, if ever found out, would change paylake fishing forever. I think dough would do allright at the ATC. I just don't think the pack/pickup combo used at most paylakes would do well at Town. Did you go down to the White Sunday?
  16. Fishing packbait around a feeder/lead is not the same as packing it around a pickup (pop, puff, bead). If I was going I would most definatly pack my packbait around my lead but I would be using hair rigged corn or boilies. Not a pickup. I don't see how thats saying paylakers won't do well. I just don't think they'll do well to fish pack like they do in a paylake. Got it now?
  17. You see....now here is a good paylaker. Way to go Chris! I'll be rooting for ya. And Cornbread too.
  18. When the hell did I say the paylakers need to go total euro tackle and get rid of the baitcasters? I just said packbait fished around a traditional paylake pickup might not be the best option at Town. Which is also a river if I'm not mistaken. Jessh! Why is my comments always taken out of context? And don't even start the thin skinned crap you bunch of *%$!@!!
  19. I never said ya was buddy. And I was'nt trying to slam anybody either.
  20. By the way...I was'nt implying Paylakers suck. <_< I used to be one. I'm just saying that it is not a paylake and the fish might not jump right onto millet or chow or anyother packbait for that matter. It would be wise to bring what the fish have been caught on before. But knowing what a paylaker is like....I'm sure that a good paylaker would bring more than just his usual. And Louis....are you making fun of my "unproper" pickup????
  21. I would almost bet the best paylaker could bring his entire arsenal to Town Lake and he would still get skunked. Wild carping is a whole nuther ballgame and dats just the way it is. Paylake flavors won't make much of a difference either. Boilies will be the key to this particular event and theres no way of getting around it. And this is coming from a former paylaker that could smoke anybody on an Indiana paylake. My advice to any paylaker planning on attending the ATC is bring some Royal Carp Scopex, Some Mainline and Boilie Shop baits so you don't go home heartbroken. Save the packbait for the paylakes and the reservoirs back home.
  22. Remember Keith...Scotty's from Massachussets.
