This is another landmark in the fact that we have updated some of our current commercial equipment to deal with the ever increasing demand of boilies and to make large batch processing easier for us. With the new rolling equipment, we are also able to offer some NEW diameters of bait too. The range now has 4 sizes on offer that include all the popular sizes including 12, 16, 20 & 24mm sizes. We are also able to offer bulk boilies for great discounts available in 6 lb, 20lb or 50 lb sizes or multiples there of. Bulk orders are also available in Shelf life or the all *NEW* Fresh to Freeze versions. So what is Fresh to Freeze? This means the baits have no natural preservatives in the bait and are made fresh to order. When you receive the bait it will need to be kept in the freezer to prevent spoiling. Two NEW boilies this year are Crayfish & Hemp Seed Boilies. Crayfish we used to sell more than 2 years ago but were unable to keep a ready supply of natural & artificial flavor required for our recipe. Well our chemist has resolved the issue by duplicating our original recipe. These Crayfish Flavor Boilies are part of our Natural's Boilies Range. They are designed to mimic Natural food and few things are as attractive to carp as Cray or Craw fish. Hemp Seed Boilies have been in the works for the last 10 months but has taken several revisions and fine tuning to perfect them. The response to these baits has to be seen to be believed and is another tremendous addition to the K-1 BAITS range. For you guys fishing snag infested waters, weedy waters or have zebra mussels or sharp drop off we have a superb range of hooklinks and tubing to solve these problems. Our Extra Abrasion Resistant Link does exactly what it says coupled with our Kevlar wrapped Armatube which is virtually indestructible so will help prevent being cut off when playing a fish. As the ice melts and the waters warm we have one of the best times of the year for catching big fish. So get out there, be safe and enjoy every minute! It has been forever since I last posted a K-1 BAITS update so I thought I would share some of the latest news from the K-1 news desk. Hot news on the bait front: We added our own special recipe Fish Meal Base Mix to the products range due to customer requests. This is only available as a ready to make mix instead of ready made boilies so that the freshest baits can be made to get the most out of the ingredients. We have used this mix in the UK and in mainland Europe with some great success over the years and this has been quietly catching here in the US to for you guys in the know. We also have our matching Fish Meal Pellets to compliment the range. If you like to fish for catfish then the simple addition of our Fish Feed Inducing Oil when making this bait instead of using any other oil will drive them crazy. Several cat guys have tried out this recipe along with paste baits or hair rigged boilies and will not go back “Chicken Livers” now. There are some remarkable stories and results on this subject but more on that at a later date. We also added our very own Giant Corn which is huge. I have seen some varieties of large corn before but nothing compares in size to this incredible stuff. It is available now in all your favorite K-1 Flavors. We also have some fabulous new Top quality End Zone Range products which includes the phenomenal Extra Abrasion Resistant Hooklink Braid. This looks similar to some other brands products out there but will last a whole lot longer when fishing amongst some nasty snags. We also added an EZ Strip Hooklink material which is also bound to find favor with the rig conscious guys. This material has the flexibility to create so many different types of rigs with one material. It has a braided core and a semi stiff outer shell which is very easy to peel back with no mess. On the other end of the scale for you guys of finesse we have a lower breaking strain Hooklink material which is ultra-thin to fool even the weariest of carp. Our popular 10mm diameter Pop up Foam sticks can be simply cut to size & shape to give your baits a degree on buoyancy as well as add a stimulating visual effect. These are also available in various colors. We have also added a superb low diameter heavy weight Tungsten Tubing to the range which is tremendous for getting your terminal tackle on the deck in the End Zone! If you have never used or seen the Hair Extender Stops then your tackle box is missing a must have product. 2009 was a good year for K-1 BAITS as we continued to grow and expand our product range. We listened to all your valuable feedback and suggestions and concentrated on ensuring customer satisfaction with consistently high quality products. Looking back at all the pictures, success stories, personal best captures and competition wins; it sure was a great year for many of our customers and friends too. Congrats to you guys who have landed new PB's recently and especially those landed on K-1 BAITS. Two superb 34+lb fish come immediately to mind as well as a 36+lb beauty that took the biggest fish award at the Tournament of champion’s event in CT. All these fish can be seen in K-1 Baits Photo Gallery 2. This makes it all worth while for us to see so many success stories with some monster carp to boot, congrats guys We have finished updating the website with the latest round of changes and page additions to include 2 Photo Galleries for all your catch reports. We also added a K-1 BLOG section so you can keep right up to date with everything going on at K-1 Baits & Tackle as well as a few other treats you can discover for yourself. Many Thanks for all you guys entering the K-1 BAITS competition in the US Carp Pro magazine. We had an overwhelming response and are pleased to announce that we have received a correct guess which will be revealed in the next issue. Not to worry though as we will be running the free to enter competition next month for you to have another guess at the tackle item which is featured on our website. I believe the "Guess the weight" competition is still open so please ensure you submit your entries in order to win. The extensively tested new flavors of Perfect Plum and Sweet Honey have been released. The results on these two new flavors have been quite remarkable so if you fancy something a little different these might be a good option for you. A few superb mirrors touching the 30 lb mark have also been reported on these new flavors which can also been seen in the Galleries.
