  1. Good ideas plus when you are done reading it, pass it along to someone else or leave it at a place where people can pick it up and read it. You might black out your address foe security's sake.
  2. Maybe we should donate Frank's book to Minnesota or Johnny Morris at BPS.
  3. Outstanding. Is it in English? The United States and England are two cultures separated by a common language.
  4. Looks good! Don't have a smartphone as I'm not too smart myself. But I clicked on the two links and scrolled down, forever it seemed. Man, I didn't know there were so many carping magazines! Got to see how I can get them online and read them.
  5. Welcome, Evan! Aren't Tennessee carpers invited?
  6. Dean, sounds like a winner. Looking forward to coming issues. Might even submit a picture for the cover or are you going to have a centerfold?
  7. One thing about having both American and European articles and pictures is that they indicate the pursuit of carp across the globe. If we could get carping as big as bassing, we would be home free!
  8. Still doesn't work. Getting nowhere fast. accordbw, thanks for the link (wish I could make one) and I did save it as a Favorite for future reference.
  9. Doesn't matter- I can't even cut so you can cut-and-paste the URL. Ever since I had a virus removed, the guy really screwed things up. Removed a full WORD program and replaced it with a limited version, plus added a limited version of Excel, which I didn't need as I have another spreadsheet program. I frequent another forum that is hosted by the same bunch and can't do anything there, either.
  10. That is what I did and got nothing but get the screen freezing up. Will try again. Thanks!
  11. I try to make a link and get a funky box with all kinds of stuff on it. I tried to fill it out but then can't cancel it or get anything when I click OK. It just freezes up and I have to hit the back arrow to get it off the screen. Any help is appreciated. I'm sure it is simple.
  12. marcus, $850 for boilies? Man, I thought flyfishing for trout was expensive! But, the carp are a lot bigger and closer to home.
  13. Looks like you put in a lot of time to plan and execute this event. Raffle???? The state of Tennessee passed a law several years ago that just about killed raffles. Many sports clubs used them for raising money. Our sports club raised over $2K each year with a raffle for a shotgun (all local, state, federal laws applied to the winner). Now- one year advance notice with application to the state PLUS a $500 permit to hold the raffle.
  14. Thanks for the info, Willem. hairwig, those are nice fish. Worth the wait for the pix.
  15. You might have to edit the photos to a smaller format. I have to do this for another forum; edit to 640X480.
  16. Thanks for all you do for CAG, Willem! My wife still blames you for getting me into this carping thing. I say thanks!!!!
  17. It works. Many thanks! Have a good one. Getting lots of rain and wind here in SE TN.
  18. Click on the link in #3. It is in the middle row. I get an error message. Edit: It is the link right below CAG Forums.
  19. Can't even make a link by clicking on the icon! It automatically went to a link when I typed the URL. Still can't copy for a quote. I can get the balloon but can't enter anything. When viewing More Reply Options, I did notice that the box to Enable HTML isn't checked off. Could this be the problem? The home page is where the State Chairs is shown. www.carpanglersgroup.com/cag/
  20. Willem, I tried to enter the State Chair section but got a message that the page wasn't available. Sorry to create more work for you.
  21. You're most welcome. I called them to give them the info, also.
  22. I was looking at the thread on carping in SC. I clicked on the link for Big Carp Tackle and got an error message: URL spelled wrong or the link is outdated. Just FYI.
  23. Nope; at least, not yet.
