Speaking from experience, the poison ivy story is classic. However, not a pleasant thing to deal with.
Here's my story: I belong to Trout Unlimited. Our local chapter works with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, sponsoring a kid's fishing derby. It is held at a city park that has several resident ducks. One kid cast his line out, hoping to catch one of the tagged fish. Instead, his line sailed over the back of a mallard drake who had just taken off. He was waving the rod like he was conducting a symphony orchestra while the duck was flying around, trying to shake off the line. The line eventually slipped off the duck's back and everything went back to normal.
