  1. Buffalo NY Carp Fishing

Hi, My son and I are looking for some good Spring Carping spots. We have some family in Buffalo but have never fished there. I'm just wondering if someone can give me some ideas where we may set up for a day session in the Buffalo area. I've checked out the shore fishing locations on the DEC website and many look promising but I'd rather get some first hand info if anyone can help. Thanks much!
  2. Lake Wylie Buffalo Fishing Tips

Does anybody have any tips for catching buffalo on Lake Wylie? I live about 30 minutes from the lake and I fish it for carp all the time. I've caught commons, grass carp, and even a couple mirrors but I have never caught a buff. Does anybody have any tips for buff fishing on Wylie? Location, Bait up technique, bait and rig used? Thanks!
  3. Buffalo Fishing Tips and Techniques

Everybody knows that it can be difficult to target the elusive Buffalo. Does anybody want to share some tips, techniques, rigs, baits etc. to give anglers a better chance at landing more Buffalo?
  4. I haven't posted in a bit so i thought i would share a few recent fish from a couple different sessions. First i will post up pictures of a few koi and goldfish that brendan and i have had! Brendan picked up a few koi that we have been targeting for a year now, someone finally caught them lol! Usually the commons in here are the only fish that want to feed. Koi brendan named Farcus The one we named Monsanto Beautiful fantail goldfish! Here are a few decent commons from a couple recent sessions, with a couple buffalo thrown in! 27lb+ 22lb+ 21lb+ Buffalo We are both very much so looking forward to the fall fishing hoping it produces some good fish! Will be posting more regularly just been lately so haven't had the time.
  5. A beauty from my last session (was targeting Channel Cats off of a sandy beach at Wisconsin River's bend) my nephew was there for the net job (eager learner) ;-) Enjoy!
