New to this forum anyway. Older than dirt in reality.
Concord, NC, USA and got started with carpin when I stumbled onto the old Carp.Net forum while looking for catfishing information.
Happily married, 9 kids - all grown and gone (whew). Work in a data center keeping servers running. Serious computer geek in other words.
Fish mostly from my boat. Easier to find places since you can anchor most any where and fish in comfort. Easier than lugging all that stuff to a spot on the bank for me.
Just made the NC CAG chair today and hoping to get some carping activities organized when the weather gets a little better.

Sean Dunkirk, formerly of Allentown, Pa., now residing in Maysville, WV
with my wife, Stephanie.
Raised in the city, fatherless, I learned most of what I know about fishing from the pages of Field & Stream and the original Fishing Facts magazines when I was younger.
I am employed as a Treatment Facilitator in a program for abused children.
First and foremost, I have an intense love for God and my family, but do have a passion for mountain bike racing, dirt track motor sports and of
course, carp fishing.
Anyone wanting to get away for a while and do some country carpin'
feel free to contact me!

A little about lil ol' me?? Just check my profile. More? I LOVE carpfishing.
Still more?? I hope to help CAG really grow as Ive grown as an angler because of it. Have also met loads of great friends!
I think it would be a great idea for all members to take a minute to update their profile, so all new members can read and learn about the "older" ones.
Good idea? <_<

Well, it would seem I have managed to screw this one up good!
Is there perhaps a moderatoer out there that could move all these bios off of Newt's heading and put them where they belong?
Sorry about that!

Todd Perdue, resident of Roanoke Virginia. I've done pretty much everything where fishing is concerned including the Bass thing...still have the 2,000 or so lures to prove it.
Wife, two kids ages 7 and 10 to date. Wanted the kids to start like I did...no boats, no lures and a great respect for nature and all it's wonder. Got back into carping and got hooked in a big way. Now it's UK tackle and pods, bite alarms etc. and the wife says it's just as bad as the bass thing was!
For me the CAG is about the people and I've met some good friends all over the country and beyond because of it.
Everyone should be so lucky.

I think this is where this would go....
I ask all members readin this to add some information about themselves on their profile. It doesn't take long and gives other members a chance to learn a little more about each other.
Thanks.
