2 weeks is a bit long for an event. Can you just fish it for a few days if you want?

I asked the same question and I believe you can fish for as little or as long as you want to - when you're done register your Big 4 and that's you done

Hey Mike

You can fish for as long or as little as you like durring the event! Fish around the clock or fish for a few hours each day and then take a break. You fish at your own pace at a peg site of your choice.

Here is a local fishing report. The carp are biting well from Ogdensburg to Massena. Lots of fish in the 27 to 30 lb class. Pineapple boilies and large corn are geting the job done. Weeds are not to bad at this time but it has been windy and rainy. I landed a 20, 22 and 25lber in a down pour in 20 mins , fishing in Waddington. :)

Keep the reports coming Bob! I've cleared the way to do 10 days during this period but will be arriving late on the 17th (due to flight times) could you tell me how to get my scales checked if I can't make it until late on 17th?

Ethan,

You don't have to be present on the 17th just registered and entry paid prior to that time.

You will need to have your scales verified and a scoresheet with instructions for photos to accompany that scoresheet to turn in at the end.

Been working on the leader board You can find it here and register if you plan on participating. Should be live soon.

Al K Big 4 Leader Board

Those of you that remember the Texas Carp Challenge the rules are very similiar to that.

-Fish basically where you want when you want on the designated areas.

To participate you must be registered. In case someone thinks of fishing the area and seeing what they can catch during the event and registering after they catch a few biggies.. :)

Looking forward to this myself.. :D

Thanks again to AF Bob for serving as the Tournament Director and helping raise a bit of money for the Al K scholarship fund.

Agree with your sentiments Dave, I'm registering on the 18th and meeting Bob to give him the cash to enter on the 18th - checks (actully cheques!) don't really work from the UK, but well up for this and a worthy cause too. Am still interested to find out the number of competitors despite numerous requests, any ideas gents?

Look forward to seeing you there Marcus.

I know Bob has agreed to a few late IOU's due to traveling and that's his call. I don't suppose anyone contacting him and showing up a fews days after the 17th will matter. :)

Your fellow country man Andrew D. is coming and Al St Cyr from TX may be riding up with me to particpate.

Bob metnioned several of the locals were willing to give it a try.

My guess 15-20 anglers as of right now?
