JD didn't take kindly to Charlie banking a double and promptly took his homemade boilies down to the bank. Over the next hour and eight minutes, JD banked three carp at 14-8,14-4, and a 10 pounder.

I was ununimpressed with either of their fishing skills and went big catching 12...............wait for it........Buffalo ! That's right, I am a player! Charlie thought he was the man with his seven catfish so I had to embarass him with my Buffalo prowess.

Now to be clear, I was in fact trying to catch carp. FInally, between 1 and 5 PM I managed to get my act together banking a 12-10, a 16-12, and an 18-2.

At 5PM, we had all had enough of the rain. We were all caked in mud, grits, and bread crumb. Enough was enough.

In spite of the weather, I had an absolute blast. JD is a fantastic guy to spend time with at any swim. He has some great stories about fishing in South Africa. He is the real deal on the bank. He shared some very unique fishing techniques with us which are extremely effective. Like it or not, he is now a beloved member of the Tennessee Crew.
