Our spring fish-in will take place on Sat., April 30 at Roger Williams Park in Providence. It will be an afternoon/evening fish-in. It will start around 3-4 o’clock and run till dark or after dark for those who want to stay.
Here are the directions to where we will be fishing. Take the main entrance into the park off Elmwood Ave. (can access off Rt. 95). Go around and down the hill toward the main zoo parking lot. Go by the parking lot and up the hill. At this point you will enter a circle. Bear right at the circle and go by the Museum of Natural History. About a quarter of a mile from here you will see the Marconi monument on your right. Park along here. We will be fishing the area below. There is room here for at least 15-20 fishermen.
Corn works well in here and it will be prebaited with corn. Doughballs and boilies will also work.
RI CAG members, friends, and the general public is invited to join us for this event.
