Now that the CAG Big-4 contest is wrapped up, you guys can stop being competitive, stop obsessing about big fish, and focus on the next generation of carp anglers, right? Posted Image

So... let me remind you that the second edition of this junior-oriented event (the TAKC) is scheduled for the week-end of June 25th and 26th. We'll basically follow the same format as last year, but certainly hoping for widespread participation from many of you, now that the event is in shape.

Bottomline:
- take any number of kids fishing with you the last week-end of June, make them catch carp, take plenty of pictures
- reports on this forum and in the NACA, plus a random prize draw for any kid with a pic (kid+carp) published on the forum
- guaranteed to make an unforgettable day for both you and the kids

For details... see the full rules here... and the prizes for the random draw here and here... Any question, shoot me an e-mail at jmoisand@gmail.com.

That's it, no more complicated than that.

So... who has plans? Come on, don't be shy, time to schedule something for local kids, very simple or more elaborate, and share with us!

I take two 16 year olds fishing with me - do they count as kids - they are both over 6 feet tall?
This is a great idea Jerome.

Cool. Anybody else planning to do something?

It's easy, just take a few kids fishing, no more being asked... Posted Image

Why not try something in the evening? June 25th is a Saturday, kids don't have to go to bed early... Posted Image

Jerome,

Just FYI - those are "free fishing" days in Kansas. No license required.
