Most Beautiful Carp In North America- Contest

We've all been there, you've just caught the most beautiful carp in our life, a scale perfect common, sweet koi, a perfect linear mirror, a crazily scaled beast...you want to show it off to your friends, your family, you colleagues, and at some point you get...

That's an Ugly Fish

So now's your chance, show us the most beautiful carp that you've ever caught and have a chance to win prizes. It doesn't have to be huge, gigantic, or massive, it just has to be pretty and caught in North America.

Fine Print:

Carp must be from North America

Up to three submissions per entrant (will be considered as one entry)

Two first place prizes:

Member: New CAG hat, patch, an assortment of Dynamite Baits goodies.

Non-members: Half-off CAG membership

Submissions will be accepted from 7:00PM EST July 17 until 7::00PM EST July 22, voting will begin July 24.

CAG reserves the right to publicize your beautiful Carp, in particular via the CAG Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Ladies and Gentlemen:

I caught this sure to be award winning fish several years ago in the Chattahoochee ("The Hooch") River south of Downtown Atlanta. It weighed 9 lbs even and for me it was a very exciting catch!!!

Although I have to say that its little sister was VERY cute! Same thing, very dark fully scaled, but MUCH smaller!

Caught at the NE regionals in 2010, I believe it was also caught in the same peg in 2008. I don't know what it is but its cool looking. B)

This one got us Big mirror for the second year in a row at Baldwinsville.

Just remember its for most beautiful fish, not the "other" mugs in the picture! :lol:

Yes, all the entries thus far are some beauties and I have no doubt we will see a lot more by the time this contest ends....Pat is going to have his hands full with this one :lol:

30-02 caught from an NC lake in March 2011 after a long wet night. Probably the most distinctive, almost certainly uncaught mirror I have ever seen in my net.
