the venue is nice and clean, open spaces and depending on where you fish, not a long walk to the car. so far it has produced a 19 common, 29 buff and 3 mirrors. lots of action with the occasional snag. hope to see alot of people there!!

I know it's been 'hashed over' many times -- BUT, why schedule events on a Sat --- when many folks work (often a half day)?
Even most non religious folks take Sunday off -- and that seems to be a far better choice of day -- if we are to get as many folks fishing as possible? :excl:

2 reasons Brid

First, fishing all day on a Sunday then going back to work is rough.

Second, many of us are family men and use sunday for family actvities.

Steve - sorry you consider the aftermath of any Carping session "rough" -- as I'm usually glowing from just being out there chasing (catching) those biggies, and looking forward to the next session :D
I'm glad you put your family first, as you clearly wouldn't want to be doing anything that clashes with them.
Tight Lines,
Brid.
