Do you know if these reels take the conversion cap for the bait runner?

No need for conversions jusr remove spring in spool cap,and your ready to fish.its a 5 minute conversion.i have 6 of these reels as extras for guests and they are great....

Whats a "quick drag?"


Quick drag is using your front drag of your reel as a baitrunner. Quick drag feature is basically a faster way to ajust your drag when playing a fish or setting your drag compared to a regular reel. Checkout the Daiwa windcasts for example.
