That was a real nice bass carp. The gold fish was sweet.Did you see alot there? Since Carol's Point is dried up the goldfish have to go somewhere.
Were they spawning too?

Ya a 26lb carp broke it in the net,as i was stalkin the goldfish (split shot came off i guess(old) and the float slid down to its doom, those floats are all balsa wood and crap imo, to fragile, so i put the jaxon float in the pic cause im shallow like that LOL. I was sight fishing the bait so the float was just to suspend my offering anyway. Mark, Koi ! :)

nothing wrong with putting that float in the picture! as for the midi float, I was asking cause I thought maybe that bass broke it which would reinforce the same opinion I have as you.......that midi floats suck! I had one break in the net without a fish even touching it! not to mention after switching the broken one out for a new one........of the same weight rating, the balance was completely off lol - I was just curious if your experience with midi was the same, or if I just had a couple of duds! When I started reading your post, and got to the bass part, I thought you nailed the goldfish and the bass ate the goldfish lol...........until I read it more.........though that would have made a funny story lol

Cheers, ps im in on a whip get together! msg added to pole post
