I do have to say that is an amazing catch and congrats to the lucky angler.
So for you guys that have fished Over the Pond and well as North America. What is the difference in Fighting ability of these fish compared to the North American fish Looks to me like a short burst or two and this thing would be worn out. Unlike a solid 15 to 20 lbs North American fish that will fight like hell and as soon as you try to net the fish you realize he still has more and that any carless Mistake even near the end of the fight ends in a spit hook.
I am not taking anything away from the Beauty of a fish just curious. about the difference
PB Common 21lbs 5oz
PB Grass 45lbs 15oz
Koi. 13lb. 4oz

It is a record fish & as such you cant draw a line , he caught it legally & that's all that matters. Well done that man!
I'd rather catch a 50 lbs NA fish though!

Catch is a catch. Be it from a paylake or wild. As long as it's taken by legal means and methods the it's a record, that is pretty black and white.

Would I pay that much to fish... Heck no! No matter how big the fish is because I'm cheap! Lol

Congrats to the angler and can't wait to hear of it getting broken again.
PB COMMON: 35.9 (2012 ATC BIG FISH)
PB GRASSER: 33
PB BUFFALO: 47

STILL NO MIRROR OR KOI......

2012 ATC: THIRD PLACE, BIG FISH, BIG FOUR (THAT DOESNT COUNT FOR ANYTHING THOUGH LOL)
