Weather has been cruel lately and fishing has been slow. I have had a few good sessions but fish are small which is understandable for this time of year..........from my experience anyways. So instead of wondering where they are in a large water........im going to standby small waters...........Some of you guys are still killing it so hats off to you!

I recently revisited a swim I did last year with my lady......its a small water coming off of a small lake that flows into Lake Erie and holds some very large fish up to late July............the best part of this swim is the baiting is made very simple due to the outflow of the lake..........you simply dump some ground bait into the flow and the fish put their heads down...........when they are there that is! lol

Regardless Melissa and I fished it for about 4 hours running inline leads, popping up 3 pieces of chum corn and method balls of finisher with cream corn and chum corn mixed in.

9 fish made it to the mat and 3 hook pulled from having to put on the heavy pressure to keep them out of the snags........

Hey thanks man, I totaly hear what your saying....this is one of those places that usually puts out a few high 20s so I went in expecting more.......as I always do..........My lady always says expect nothing, so when you get something, its a reward........I always expect more and get crushed with less lol! I have to work on that for sure!
