Here are some key details:

1. CIFC is limiting the number of anglers who can join the league to twenty members, so join today by contacting Paul Scott via email at pasasap2@yahoo.com

2. You and your special fishing buddy can also join as a team and fish together as one person. See the rules for further details on how this will work. I am attaching them, but if you have problems downloading the rules, email me.

3. The entry fee for each tournament will be just $25.

4. Tournaments will use the pegged format and no boats of any kind will be allowed, including bait boats.

5. All Tournaments are catch-and-release. Fish friendly keep sacks, knotless nets, and good safe fishing techniques are required.

6. All tournaments are "Big 5" events, plus Largest Fish.

7. The fish types that will be weighed are Buffalo Suckers (All Species), Carp (Kio, leather, common, and mirror), Grass Carp, Blue Catfish, Channel Catfish, and Flathead Catfish.

8. If there are fewer than ten participants, then the winner will take all, plus there will be a smaller prize for the Largest Fish. Otherwise, there will be a 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, and Largest Fish Prize divided 40%, 30%, 20%, and 10% of entree fees paid.

9. $5 of every entry fee paid will go into the "Top Ten" Championship pot to be fished at the end of the season.

10. League members will score points every tournament. One point for participation, one point for largest fish, one point for 3rd Place, three points for 2nd Place, and five points for 1st Place.

11. All tournaments are open to the general public, but League Members will get priority. All open spots will be filled by the public each tournament. We hope to have at least ten League Members who fish every tournament.

12. All anglers must sign Liability Waiver Forms before the start of the tournament and must have a valid Illinois Fishing License or proof they do not need a Fishing License. The DNR will be checking us at every tournament.

If you have any questions, please email me. Attached below are the rules.
