Love to catch fish on the skinny stick. I have a 6 ft. 2 wt. that is a blast for big bluegill. I'm going to try to catch a carp or two, or three on a fly rod this year.

My carp fly rod would be an 8 ft., 8 wt. The 2 wt. is for small trout streams and bluegill. I also have a 4 wt. 5 wt., and a 6/7 wt., depending on what weight line I use. I have a place where the carp are not real big but would be good as it's off the main river and no one fishes there but me. River levels come up in April!

Sounds awesome!

Lake Delton by me has tons of them 5-7lbs feeding off the surface. Love it on 6wt

The Wisconsin River I cannot afford any lighter than 8-9 them are some bruisers and just run me under cover...
