Dave--Cory indicated that he had checked the river recently, and it was free of weeds.  I'm not sure how it will be Saturday, though.  --Frank

You may wish to consider taking a warmer coat for the 7:00 a.m. temperature of 30°.  The temps will rise quickly, though, as we expect a sunny day and a high of 53°.  I hope the weeds and current are light.  Good luck.  Peg choice is at 6:30 a.m. sharp near pegs 6-7 as indicated on the following map!

The specialty event will be "most catfish."  Prizes for most catfish include a medal and two containers of Marukyu hookbaits ($20 value).
