RESULTS - Nov. 26 Paul Wells Memorial Thanksgiving Tournament at Joliet

Recommended Posts

Chad Bettisch, Jim Rink, Chuck Ferczok place 1-2-3 at November 26 Paul Wells Memorial Thanksgiving Big 4 Carp Tournament; Chad Bettisch and Jim Rink go 1-2 in numbers contest!

During the Thanksgiving weekend, it was “feast” for the top four participants and “famine” for the remaining six anglers at the November 26 Paul Wells Memorial Thanksgiving Carp Tournament.  The top four contestants caught 24 carp while the rest of us captured just two collectively (Connor Reno and Larry Seeman each caught one carp).

Chad Bettisch made peg one the top producing peg for two events in a row with a Big 4 victory and a Big 4 weight of 57 pounds, two ounces (16-6, 15-7, 15-5, 10-0).  This is the second time that Chad has won the tournament over its ten-year run.

Chuck Ferczok made it a tightly contested tournament with four carp at his Jackson Street, peg 7 location for a 38-14 total (16-6, 9-8, 8-8, 4-8).  Chuck finished in third place in the Big 4 contest.  Chuck also won a free CAG membership as the highest placing non-CAG member in the competition.  Welcome to CAG, Chuck!
