I just got back from a short 3 hour session, and I'm in awe! I managed 5 fish, 3 over 20 pounds. It was absolutely incredible, non-stop action!

And finally, the largest of them all... 28 pounds 8 ounces!

It was an extraordinary fish, and also my first high-twenty! Put up an amazing fight, as I was doubled up with a 24 pound 4 ounce fish!

It's also worth noting that I blanked at this spot in the spring. I had baited for weeks and not a single fish. I show up today after only baiting for two days and have the session of a lifetime! It's interesting how the seasons can influence your fishing, and if anyone disagrees with that statement please show them this!

Fantastic! And well done managing a double run of 20s, that is impressive.

Yes, seasons have a major impact on fishing and fishing locations, you're right. A few days ago, I royally blanked at a state park I fished with great success last spring. And it's October, and carp are biting all over the place... If you are in the right place, that is. You clearly were. Congrats. Do it again!
