tomorrow i will be takeing a bus to the st lawrence. i will be staying in waddington for 2weeks. airforce bob and chris c went up there yesterday and will be there for 7days. they brought up my carp tackle. i can't wait to hook on to a st lawrence carp. if anyone wants to meet up email me at vinnypunk@yahoo.com thanx

News from Waddington...
With AF Bob's help, Jevonna (2nd in the girls 15-18 yr olds, we marshalled!) just landed her new PB at 28lbs! Chris C had a 13...and things are heating up. They are just above the Iroquois at Strawberry fields....
She was excited!

very exciting news. Great to hear she is ongoing with her angling.

I got a call from Bernie Haines who called to say the carp are having it. He reports a couple forties caught as well.

Update for the Columbus Day Massacre....
27 total carp caught, 600lbs of fish.
Chris broke his new pb twice.
Multiple fish, over 26 lbs. multiple 27lbs, a 28 lbs, 29 lbs, 31 lbs, 32 lbs,

Update,
The "32" mentioned before, was actually a 34lb 2ozer, Chris' PB! There were quite a few big 20's and at least 3 30's taken. The best news is Amy's 30+lb new PB (also her first CARP!)!!! Talk about a wonderful introduction to the world of carp! Well earned for all her hard work this year!
I am still stuck at home pounding the "sprats", but these included in the last 24 hours (a couple quick trips) 2 20's to 24lb and another 18+lb mirror!

Sounds like great fishing: I guess some members get better reports than others. We just returned from the St. Lawrence and didn't see anything like that. We wound up with 10 fish. three in the twenties and the rest in the teens.
