Well it all started out with myself to go for a final fishin at The Homeless Swim. I was going to meet Jerome there and a few other anglers. I called my brother Lance to see if I could pull him out of retirement for one last fishin before we put the rods away. I had no problem convincing him and we drove down to this great spot and gave it a try. We started off losing a couple carp due to impatience but our will got stronger. We both got 15lbers and were off to a great start.

Well things picked up greatly, we use a maize with Obsession for carp and I think we hit the jackpot. We use floating corn on bolt rigs and they just came one after another.

Well I definitly got lucky today, after catching some smaller carp my total for the day went up to 18 carp, Lance had 13, and I believe Jerome had 6 or 7 but he was testing his Aqua View and display the carp eating his beautifull sweetcorn so he could of been right up there with us but entertained us tremendously. Here's a couple more pic's

Is there going to be a fish-in their in 06? That would be nice. Almost as good as a Malden River Fish-in.

I had one catch that was called the beast. He was a 12lber but look at the broadness of this monster.

Well, Corey impressed me today. He kept catching them one after the other while Lance was playing net man, and while I was watching my Aquavu video displaying my bait not being taken...

Corey clearly had everything right today. Bait, terminal rig, location, everything. And he started to carp fish only a couple of months ago. Impressive progression! Nice job, buddy. smile.gif

More on what happened to my bait when my new underwater videos will be uploaded... ph34r.gif
