Fantastic mirror, Louis! This kind of shape is very unusual in the US, I believe.

And great display of fishing skills. Although I'm sure Becky will beat you every day of 2006 from now on... Ever heard of the purgatory? tongue.gif

Nice fish and good job to everyone who manged to wet a line.

I caught a couple fishing with Tommy yesterday, first about 7:45 weight 4lb 2oz, second was around 11:30 and was 9lb 14oz....Tommy managed a fish at 5:20 that went 30lb 3oz. Nobody had a thermomater but I would guess that the water temp. was around 45? Basin was frozen up the weekend before so it could have been too warm. Big congrats to Tommy on his first fish of the year!

Here's a couple of pics of Tommy's fish, tough to really capture it in the low light, one with flash and one without.

Ok so here is my 2 cents on the FFF in Ma.
Vinny, Sarah, and met up at the homeless swim at the crack of Dawn. We arrived right around 6 am with it snowing slightly and air temps right around 30. We set up and vinny had the first fish around 630am. From that point on Vinny and i slammed fish! Sarah got into action as well with a 11lber. We had 20 fish between us and I had almost 100lbs of fish when the other Mass guys started showing at around 1030am.
The fishing had started to slow down and unfortunetly it seemed to be getting colder. Anything that touched the water was instantly frozen. My net was frozen to the ground several times. Never the less we all pretty much hauled. As a group we had 60 fish!! With severl fish in the 15lb class. Corey's cousin Mike lost a big fish but followed it up with a nice 14+lber that i think was a new PB.
For me the baits were SPS pack with some additives and flavored with Supr VBN, hookbaits were pescaviva spiked with the same flavor and egg and milk boilies. Other participants were surprised i was fishing boilies but 7 fish were landed on these When the bite died out I tried messing around with other hookbaits to no avail.
Just wanna give a shout to all my NE/Mass peeps, Vinny, sarah, Scott, Jerome, Corey, mike, Chris C, AFBob, and Marius. A fun day fishing with the crew.

PS AFBob and Family thanks for the bankside Pizza!

News from Mirek Malej, who fished in Chicago and did real well:

QUOTE
Here are my weights of the fish; 13.5, 6.15, 15.10, 19, 10.14, 17.12, 13.13, 15.9. Water temp. was 51F, air 40-45F. Fishing time; 8:30am to 1pm.

Indeed that was a decent day of fishing. Especially that by that swim we have a Starbucks place so it was double pleasure.I fished in that place few weeks ago and I won the match we had there. Ernest will have some video from fff so it should be intresting to see action on net.
