Here he is... And Bob hiding behind the big man and the big fish...

<<picture removed, since it led to an unforeseen and unnecessary controversy. Scott, apologies for this silliness, which I unintentionally initiated.>>

OOps....guess Im not tall enough for that proceedure. Weighing the fish that way was innacurate. Glad Bob had HIS weigh-sling, as I wasnt tall enough to weigh-in-net!:)
Great job again Jerome!

And the great "weigh-slinger" Bob himself... Who believed for a couple of minutes that I had caught a bigger fish than his own PB... But no, an accurate reading with his weigh sling restored the truth... And frankly, I was more than happy enough with such a high twenty, so I can now chase the 30-something barrier... wink.gif

Yes it does! I was about to go dig up the photo and repost it. 4+lbs in 3 years? Nice work, Merrimack! Oh yeah, and congrats Siamond, of course.

That is something I CANNOT understand. I didn't make any comment when Scott stated he recognized the fish this morning after THREE years, but I have to say I was skeptical. Now you did also recognize the fish, Eric?

I find that amazing. Recognizing mirror carps, ok, the scale pattern is probably quite unique to each individual fish. But how in hell do you guys recognize a common after 3 years? The shape can't be unique enough!

This being said, thanks A LOT for the C&R on this one. Thanks to your release 3 years ago, I had such a blast today... smile.gif

Yes, please Eric, post the 3-years-old PIC if you still have it. I'd love to compare the pictures...

The odd shape of the tail, plus the narrow wrist of the tail was a clue. Not to mention how it "acted" while being photographed. Wait til Eric posts, the fish is "posing" the very same way!
Also, after seeing over 20,000 carp, you kinda see differences in commons. Ive had quite a few repeat offenders, and can just kinda "know" which one it was. Ask Paul Pezalla about this "talent/curse", remembering odd things!
BTW, Eric, it was only 2 years ago (2001)...
PPS....Im shocked you didnt just ake my word Jerome!:)) rolleyes.gif
