By popular demand... Here are a few pics from our multi-celebration in MA, last Saturday.

For once, not many words on the fishing session during the day... It was darn cold, and we caught nothing, zip, nada, que dalle... I was so frustrated that for the first time of my life, I gave up fishing in favor of bowling... blink.gif

Corey & Sarah had obviously practiced for a few years, but Vinny left most of us in the dust, except for Scott who left Vinny in the dust...

The best part though was to see Scott fly in the air, and MEGA-THUMP, create a big Earthquake... tongue.gif

While we were freezing on the shore, and then having fun at the bowling, my wife Edith was working hard...

Here are two of her compositions. The birthday cake was for Sarah, because... how did you guess... it was her birthday (or close)! birthday.gif

First reason to celebrate! blow.gif

But we had another reason to celebrate.. Scott's incredible achievements at the ATC and at the TCC... He told me ahead of time he wanted to win both, I thought "yeah, right, whatever", but... this extra-terrestrial alien did it! ohmy.gif wacko.gif

So... 2nd reason to celebrate! blow.gif blow.gif

Believe it or not, Scott paid for the Champagne tonight. And this was a good brand (Veuve Cliquot for connaisseurs)!

Still, one bottle wasn't really enough, so we had a backup one... cool.gif

A few more guests showed up, first Beth & Marius (who worked hard at the TCC as well) and then Chris. They proceeded to catch up fast with the food and... with the wine!

My son Felix was VERY impatiently waiting for us to finish eating. Because super-working-bee (Edith) had planned for gifts as well.

When I gave him the go-ahead, Felix was FLYING while distributing gifts! smile.gif

Sarah got an DVD from her favorite Japanese movie director... And even Bill Dowler (yes, mr Boilie Shop) contributed with a slightly delayed FFF prize for Vinny, full of goodies.

If you didn't see yet "Howl’s Moving Castle" from Hayao Miyazaki, then go get it! Yet another marvel of a movie from the "Spirited Away" director.

King Scott had laurels (of course), but also a funny card (not sure why the cow is laughing at him, but I could find good reasons!) and some very fishy food tools.

Now let's see... Did I forget somebody in this story... We had THREE celebrations this evening... blow.gif blow.gif blow.gif

Yes, you know who I'm speaking of, the lovebirds, Corey & Felisha. Recently engaged. You know what, they are quite cute together! wub.gif

Felisha asked Corey for a pink rod... Corey incidentally mentioned it to me... Scoody Doo Bi-Doo... The Barbie variation of a Scooby rod was quickly found at the local Decathlon.

Also Corey discovered that Morpheus is a sleepy god, but was also a good angler (or so I decided!). Heck, fish are usually bigger in my dreams than in reality, so the proof is made. Irrefutable. cool.gif

And now let me open the topic, so that you can congratulate "King" Scott, or "Birthday Girl" Sarah, or "FFF Star" Vinny, or the Lovebirds... smile.gif

...or thank Jerome/Edith/Felix/Etc for completely spoiling us smile.gif It was a wonderful day. Started out with slow fishing (thanks Scott for covering for me wink.gif ), great bowling, amazing dinner and gifts, cake. I love my CAG buddies smile.gif Thanks also for letting me sleep over after wink.gif. It was great to meet Felisha for the first time (real sweety!) and see everyone else again. Congratulations everyone for their recent acheivements.

Great day, even fishless! Thanks again Jerome, and Edith!
Good to see everyone again!

Jerome, BTW, my "glass" is still over your house..smile.gif

PPS, when you're used to Linds shoes, and your own ball, somehow house shoes and a house ball doesn't seem the same (especially when the shoes stick, and noone has any talc!)! Still popped duece though..wink.gif
