Just wanted to give a big THANKS to Horace for stepping up to the plate and hitting one out of the park today at the Georgia CAGI. He ran the show about as smoothly as it could have been done. It was great seeing old friends and meeting some new ones. We even caught a few fish to boot. Really missed English Bob, but hopefully he will be able to make the next shindig. Tight lines.....Cornbread

Thank you sooooooooo much Horace, I had an awesome time. Everyone I met was absolutely fabulous, they shared their secret recipes with me and gave me tons of new ideas and rigs. I couldn't have asked for a better day, well, with the exception that I would have liked to land even a small carp, but those catfish I brought home are sure to make for some good eatin' tonight. Thanks again.

Plenty of great smiles on this pic. And plenty of fish landed, including 8 mirrors as I just learned!

Well done, Horace. GA is really lucky to have you. thewave.gif

Thanks Horace, it was alot of fun; I'm pretty sure thats not the first time Kevin has fished a spot for the first time and caught more than everyone else.....If I'm not mistaken, he used that rod from the rocks just below Buford Dam and cleaned up on trout; I'll bet there's some place out here in North Georgia that is generally thought of as unfishable (thinking rainbows and brownies now) like bridges over some of rapids on the Soque River where he could really do something special.
