We had a great turnout, 20 fisherman. The weather was perfect, in the low eighties. There were 43 carp caught for a total of 314.4 lbs. Most of the fish were caught in the last hour. The biggest fish was caught by Ryan May of 15lbs 14oz. The smallest was a little 2lb scrapper caught by Mark Reece. He had to use most of his UK fishing skills to land this mighty carp.
I want to thank Shawn and Nicole Woerlein for all the help they gave me to make the Ohio CAGI a success. Cheers Phil Davenport Ohio CAG Chairman

Mark's fish is a naturalized goldfish not a common carp and as such should be excluded......................................

Nice report.
Brian, you're looking rather chiseled. You been working out? This post has been edited by Big Carphuna: Jun 24 2007, 04:26 PM

Anybody else sunburned to a crisp?!? Some of us have been fishing for so many years that we never go out without a hat and sunblock. I thought you were either turning red because you were embaressed about all the fish you missed or you had been swimming in beet juice. I guess the sun would do it too. |
