Hello

For the past few years a few CAG members have been Winter fishing a streach of water located at Kedzie & Bryn Mawr. Behind North Side Prep High School on the North side of Chicago.
I don't know the Exact name of this canal, but it's conected to the North Branch of the Chicago River north of the spill way.
The section of the canal the CAG members fish is over two blocks long and can hold many anglers. Many fish in the teens, plus a 20 or two, have been caught out of this venue.
Yesterday I fished in the Match Winter League at this venue and landed two 18 pounders in the last hour of the match, the temps was in the low 20s
Anyone considering coming out on the first of the year might want to try this venue.
thank you
Paul W

PS I will lightly pre-chum this venue, don't worry I think I know what I'm doing tongue.gif
PPS this venue has good protection form the hawk

Howdy, Paul! I would really like to fish this venue with you, but I am involved with the super secret "Grain Elevator Project" at an undisclosed location. It will be cool fishing Chicago locations other than the lakefront this year. Good luck!
