The FFF Sunrise Award goes to the angler having submitted the best picture of the first sunrise of the year. The picture may or may not include a fish, but has to include at least one fishing rod. A vote will be organized on the Internet (CAG Forum) to select the best picture.
please post your sunrise pictures here in this thread so we can vote on them . -------------------- MARK Washington, DC Chairman Catch a man a fish, and you can sell it to him. Mark -- we didn't get a sunrise -- due to the freezing fog that obliterated everything until late morning. Couldn't you re-phrase the category to read "FFF sunrise/sunset award" ?? Otherwise -- we're up creek without a paddle (or too many carp !!)
I've got a few pics in my report in the Southwest section - however, here's a couple of the sunset. Cheers, Brid. ![]() ![]()

SUNRISE AT JOLIET
The sunrise was somewhat muted here in Joliet, IL due to constant snow and wind, but the light through the blowing snow crystals was decent at one point to allow this Des Plaines River shot with fishing rods and Cory Bohmann about to release a fish at the lower right.--Frank
