We really need to have some consistency in the prize aspect of these events. Especially for the kids. After all at the end of this week it will be March. Speaking for myself, I know that I caught the first fish of the year, but I cannot tell you what that means as far as prizes are concerned. Other categories no one knows if 2nd or 3rd place gets a prize like in years past. We are all trying very hard to be patient, but this appears to be bordering on nonsense. Please Mark tell us if there is still hope? Thank you for allowing me to vent too!

dear fellow anglers i have to make a sincere apology for the delay in the prize distribution and posting of the prize results. I have had alot of things going on in my business life ( all good ) and have been working 7 days a week for many months nownow , traveling around the country a bit and i have(I am sorry to say ) just plain ole neglected doing my job. for that i apologize and promise you that i will have them listed by the end of the day . I havent been online here for so long that i forgot my password.

And we also still don't know key stats, or who entered the FFF Hall of Fame, etc.
You know, I am very grateful that the FFF'08 did happen, and that the event stayed alive & kicking, I really am, but the awards/prizes being in such a shape by end of February, this is indeed very frustrating. People (starting by kids, but not only them) do have a short attention span, and I think the goal is clearly to try to hard to wrap up events within a month. I know all too well this is a ton of work, and various circumstances tend to go in the way, but if you put yourself in the shoes on the event participants (notably winners), and think to what such winners will remember of the event, this becomes quite clear we should aim HARD at such a goal. There are multiple ways to get organized to get to such goal, could be a one-man task, could be a team with various forms of delegation, it all depends on personal circumstances and personal ways to reach best efficiency, but lingering more than 2 months on a national event is... troublesome to say the least. As I mentioned before, if there is a way I can help wrapping up this edition of the event, I'll be glad to help. -------------------- Jerome Moisand, Arlington MA
