That's great, Mr. Wells. It's about time I heard from someone in the big city. I keep asking for "contest" parameters, but nobody replies. Maybe the fumes from that north branch sewage have all you self-proclaimed "ditch anglers" confused, or maybe you're just scared. Now, please get your head out of that bubbly creek gutter and let me know what kind of contest we are having. I'm ready and willing to collect some chump change even if I have to fish in a dead zone made barren by your geniuses at the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago. tongue.gif.--Frank

Paul--I'll suggest the following, simple contest, and I'll wait to see what you Chicago anglers want to negotiate: You name 5 anglers and we'll name 5. Highest total weight caught on January 1 by whichever group of five wins a total of $1. What do you think? --Frank

Been there, done that. It doesn't always work--especially when the fish have rotenone-infested, dead relatives floating all around them. Then again, I appreciate your confidence, Carpbowl. Somebody has to be upbeat after an entire group of nine experienced carp anglers BLANKED at Joliet a few days ago.

That's right, Cory! Here's our list. Let's see if the Chicago boys can even muster 5 anglers. ohmy.gif
Cory Bohmann, Mike Olinger, Larry Seeman, Dennis (Moneypenny) Davis, Frank Rink.

Nope. The fish just weren't there or they were eating their dead, rotenone-filled brothers instead of corn and method mix laugh.gif . I can't believe we're trying to compete with the North Branch when we're fishing a dead zone, but it's all in good fun. Right? tongue.gif

The only confidence in the Joliet "dead zone" that I have will be after Moneypenny orders his bum park lackeys to make several 40 ouncer runs for us! puke.gif
