Rob is one of our new CAG members in MA. Today, we went with Vinny & Chris to show the mighty Merrimack River to Rob, and its carp fighters...

Overall, it was quite slow and we didn't catch that much, but we were rewarded of our long hours of inaction by Rob catching its new Personal Best, a very nice 17lb. Congratulations, Rob!

It all started with Rob in action...

Thanks to Vinny's expert netting, the fish was finally subdued...

Nice going Rob.
Starting out w/ a 17 puts you leagues above most here. Soon you'll be hauling in double that!!!

Was pretty slow overall though... We spend most of the day on the river! Weather was great, but bites were *very* spaced out. Can't wait for the fall...

Still, I managed a 16lb and a couple of smaller ones... I think Vinny caught a 20+ in the afternoon, but he had moved to the other side of the river, so I'm not sure...
