want some feed back here--planning on chumming a carp spot with chic peas flaved with tiger nut oil----then fishing the nuts themselves
do you pop them up?--float fish them?--just plan old bolt rig with a couple on a hair--never used one YET

I usually use a single tigernut and balance it out with a peice of artificial pop up corn. Sometimes I cut them in half and stack them on top of eachother. A great bait.

Don't chum too many of them whole though - chopped tigers are excellent for this.

Steve, Do you just buy whole tigers and crush them yourself? or do you buy them precrushed? I have been thinking of making an order of the Dynamite tigers and noticed they sell already broken tigers, would you recomend these?
Any one ever use foam to pop up tigers?

I have not tried them at present, have thought about it. I know the corn works well and don't see why they would not.

Never tried them with fake corn but found that cork works fine....

I've thought of cutting a cork to about the size and shape of a tiger nut and using that to pop-up one or more tiger nuts.
How do you prebait them effectively? What is better about tiger nuts then say boilies or maize?

That's one reason I don't fish many one rod places..
Pile in the maize and fish them over the top...
