I usually use a single tigernut and balance it out with a peice of artificial pop up corn. Sometimes I cut them in half and stack them on top of eachother. A great bait.

Great minds think alike there mate - me too :D

Don't chum too many of them whole though - chopped tigers are excellent for this.

Same here and I have used a black artificial corn with good results.
It ain't braggin' if you can do it.

Steve, Do you just buy whole tigers and crush them yourself? or do you buy them precrushed? I have been thinking of making an order of the Dynamite tigers and noticed they sell already broken tigers, would you recomend these?

Any one ever use foam to pop up tigers?

I have not tried them at present, have thought about it. I know the corn works well and don't see why they would not.

I've thought of cutting a cork to about the size and shape of a tiger nut and using that to pop-up one or more tiger nuts.

How do you prebait them effectively? What is better about tiger nuts then say boilies or maize?

That would be the way to go.... :D

You don't need many, certainly don't go piling in lbs of them.. the carp eat and pass them whole so they get spread around and eaten many times.. :D

Nothing, just times when they are great and others when you could use something much more effective..
That's one reason I don't fish many one rod places.. :D :D

Pile in the maize and fish them over the top... :D
