Setting up a swim for carp is pretty easy... I'll toss out corn right before dark & fish at daylight & they're there along with some catfish at times & various other fish...
I boil my corn for an hour or so &place it directly in a cooler after I let in slightly cool down... This allows the corn ferment... I leave it in no longer than 3 days
I fish with a variety of bait but can't beat canned sweet corn for a beginner
Play around with the corn you use for the swim & bait it's all good
