It was a beautiful day in dixon today, allthough the numbers were down throughout the river system from what I heard. I somehow managed 11 runs and was fortunate to land 6-7 of them. I'm sure tomorrow will be a better day for all the anglers and hopefully more show up to fish than did today.I Heard I was the only angler using 12 ft rods today. I understand some anglers don't like to catch smaller fish, but it is a tournament which makes it all relative and from what I hear It won't hurt ya to comeout and catch a few popcans from time to time At one point in time this event used to be a BIGTIME carp slaughter and it has now turned the corner due to several CAG memebers past and present. If we don't comeout and support these events they will eventually go away. Just my 2 cents. See some of you out there tomorrow.

Or fish by other anglers you know and run your big one up if and when you get it!

Nope we are fishin with the regular dixon tournament anglers this year. So carp fishing gets more exposure This should be fun, thanks for organizing this event larry.

Hey larry. If the 20 teams show as listed, what will the payout be for 1st-5th and big fish? Less than 2 days away, cant wait. Everyone driving in have a safe trip.

Yeah I checked the hydrographs and levels are normal

A week out and looking forward to this one. I heard the rock is flooded bigtime now but should drop to near normal in the next week, that is if the rain stays away. See ya all next weekend
