  1. The May 18th fish-in was a great success. We had a good turn out of over 20 carpers. The morning went fish less but by the afternoon the bite picked up and some prime commons made it to the carp cradle. It was great to meet some new people and catch up with some familiar ones. We had a good hot dog lunch along with some free prizes, medals and a big fish pot. We also have a couple of new CAG members to be!
Congrats to Yuri for 1st, Jim for 2nd and Vic for third. Huge thanks to Daniel OCH, my son Declan for helping out and everyone that came down to support the event. Hopefully see you guys at the next CAG fish in this summer.

I am having issues uploading photo's together. So, I'm doing pasting them individually

  3. I have been attaching files using the CAG photo uploader with no issues until recently.

Now when I attempt to upload files after clicking 'browse', then 'attach this file', they don't load???

Also - Alternatively ,I would have no problem pasting an image using a URL but I can only sign into the forum now by right clicking 'sign in' then clicking 'open', so I end up loosing the image?...

Computer savvy, I am not...

    Any help would be appreciated

  4. I once sacked a 32 pound common.I had it in the sack for an hour at the most until I found a passer by to take a photo. When I released it it wouldnt come around. I still feel guilty about it. Maybe it couldn't handle the stress? Not saying it's wrong to sack them but worried it could happen again.

  5. I would like to announce 2014's first CAG fish-in to be held @ The Canada Centre For Inland Waters (C.C.I.W) or known as "Inland" to some. C.C.I.W is located on the north eastern shore of Hamilton harbor in Burlington (by the skyway bridge). It will officially start at 8AM and finish by 4PM. This is a free event open to anyone interested regardless of your fishing skills or if your a CAG member. We're hoping the fish will have started to move in the area by then after the long winter we've had. The CAG had generously donated some sweet medals for those participating who's catches place first, second and third in total weight! Come down and meet other carpers both new and seasoned. Swop tips and carp stories. This is a family oriented event based on fun and showcasing carp angling. There is plenty of bank space and easy access to the water. Parking is near by. Anyone interested in helping out would be appreciated. Hopefully we will have some hot dogs and pop. Canada Centre For Inland Waters: 867 Lakeshore Rd, Burlington, Ontario. L7S 1A1 Contact me if you have any questions Hope to see you there! Mark About CAG Fish-Ins A fish in is just a casual meeting of carp anglers on the bank. Some are elaborate- including weeks of pre baiting, bbq smokers and friendly wagers for the biggest fish; others are just impromptu get-togethers set up so carp anglers and new can meet to have a little fun together while fishing. Some fish ins last for an afternoon, and some are whole weekend camp-outs. The two things they all have in common is fun with friends and carp fishing. Most fish-ins are set up by local state chairmen of CAG, but any member can host one if they like. Hosting a fish in can be loads of fun. You get to share your local water with other CAG members; many of our members love to travel even hundreds of miles to fish a new place and meet new friends.
