  1. Tom:

I agree that the business end of CAG is not very "Senior Friendly" along with the Forum being "Very Redundant" as in lots of old stuff as in "CLUTTER".

You need to have "inner wisdom" to know where to find topics and information. It's like letting someone who wrote a program write the instruction manual. Not good.

The best advise to renew membership is to wait until it expires and take heed to the e-mail saying you're expired and follow the bread trail to renew.

  2. I'll see you all there Friday. I'm scheduled to Marshall??? or Weighmaster. Did the same last time.

All you gents from down south should bring a pair of woolies as the weather there can change to real cool.

Also on the license issue. New York starts the new year Saturday October 1st.

Tom, is it oatmeal pack time?

    Cheers:

    Fran

  3. Many great memories of Bud at those early Chicago events.

I shared a room with him @ the 96 CCC. Many great memories.

Hopefully the next time around we can all spend more time together.

    RIP Bud

  4. I believe Lyme Maine (where the disease was discovered) has a site with some suggestions. At least I once saw a little folder from there with suggestions.

    Phone

Lyme disease originated in Lyme CT, where (many locals say) it came from a government research facility that can be seen from the shore @ Old Lyme.

Old Lyme CT is considered the epicenter of Lyme disease.

  5. The Jacksons seem to get their names in the very best mentions nearly every year...kinda like you, Tom. Coincidence?? I think not...

  6. Well I just tried to renew ( I received a mail saying my membership was up this month),

with a good e-mail and password but hit a stupid page that had names but not mine.

Go to the list on the left for a complete list of members. That doesn't work either.

Put in my name and 0 members were found.

20 minutes out of my life.

  7. Cool ... I will mark it and look fwd to it.

    Rob:

    Hope to see you there.

I've talked my wife into coming along so we'll be weighing fish during the day. Possibly some evening we can

recycle some lager and talk about the good old days. You could bring some of that weird NJ sausage.

  8. Hamilton, Ontario sounds like a very good plan, and like stated before, the "one rod" rule may actually be a good thing for the fishing (a lot of rods casted out in a small area in a short amount of time always seems to turn off fishing). Plus, it's in a more central part of the continent.

    Scott:

Much wisdom from such a fissionable mind.

As I see your new religious avatar " Grasshopper,,, no I think ""Praying Mantis"",, I too think the one rod rule would be a good thing.

(If I made the rules "all championship events would be with 1 rod only") Great equalizer for Travelers, Paylakers, Newbies, and those

that always have the extra "SNIDE ROD" lurking in the bush.

Also another thought is: Our side of Larry in that area we have all seen and it's wearing pretty thin. The other side looks to be a whole new adventure.

Of course we must think of those on our side (with questionable characture) that would be refused admission to Canada....

    Cheers:

    Fran
