  1. Thanks Barry, good show.
  2. Hats off to you Ed, you did a great job. Hope to see you on the bank in 2015.
  3. Good show guys..thanks for stepping up.
  4. Much thanks for your service Mario...best of luck in the future.
  5. Thanks for a job well done Neil...best of luck with the koi.
  6. I always carry extra baiting needles with me, some of them have come free from Resistance...I carry them with me and give to interested anglers I meet. In essence Resistance has been very helpful in recruiting new carp anglers. Much thanks.
  7. Hey Charlie!!!!! Great to see you back!!!!!
  8. No Spam/pop up ads on my screen. LOL...it is a great carp bait too. I used to haul Spam by the truckload out of the main plant in Austin, Mn...great museum and 2 restaurants in town that serve SPAM in many delicious meals.
  9. From PayPal FAQ...PayPal keeps your financial information private. When you pay using PayPal, the seller never sees or receives your credit card or bank account numbers. Additionally all your bank and credit card information is stored by PayPal on a computer that is not connected to the internet. Transactions are all completed in SSL...encrypted format. Sooo...if you've used PayPal to pay at ANY vendor for all your transactions...it's impossible for your card info to be gotten from any virus that that site may have. Your payment goes to PayPal and then is deposited into the vendors account without any credit card info being given to the vendor. I've been using PayPal for all my online purchasing since around 1999/2000...and have never had a fraudulent charge on my cards. UH OH...now watch LOL!!!
  10. As Neil stated...he's been hit on cards that he's never used for carp gear purchases.
  11. Even though I haven't had any problems...use PayPal always on line....I still took the precaution of changing my PayPal account some.
  12. Just checked my cards....I'm a "paypal only" for online purchases...no unauthorized charges. I was really concerned as I've made many purchases in the last couple months from Wackerbaits, BigCarpTackle, and CarpKit. Sorry to hear of the problems and sure hope it gets solved. Just curious...has everyone who mentioned problems recently started or renewed CAG membership????
  13. K1 colored powder dyes have now replaced the dyes I've used for several years. They are POTENT. Word of caution...they will stain your hands, comes off in a day or so...gloves might be advised. Also, make sure you cover the kitchen counter when using them...a little water and the slightest bit of powder goes a loooong ways. I had the counter top covered so don't know if it'd stain it...but, I wouldn't chance it. Colors I used...purple, blue, yellow and white...all did great but was particularly happy with how WHITE the white powder made the boilies, and this was using a very tan basemix and a purple flavor. Thumbs Up K1...great dyes.
  14. As with many here I'm constantly playing with baits and ingredients...primarily for boilies and pack/method mixes. This year I decided to make a few baits with some items I've never tried..Wackerbaits Sweet 34 and Preferred 24 Basemix. Extremely happy with how both worked. Sweet 34...sweetener...a little goes a loooooong way; no after taste and no burn; smoothed out the taste in some very strong esters that I've used for a long time and it's only the 2d sweetener I've run across that'll do it...in 14 years of boilie making it's in the top 2 for me now and will keep a place on the shelf whereas the vast majority of sweeteners I've tried over the years end up in the trash within minutes of arriving at the house. Definately on my top 2 list....the other shall remain nameless. Preferred 24 Basemix...GREAT mix and rolls very easy. Says you can use water...no eggs required but, I'm old fashioned and eggs have always been in my boilies so I used eggs LOL. It is also light enough in color to be easily dyed. Top notch baitmaking products that I will use again.
  15. Congrats on the new rod and WELCOME to CAG!!!!!
  16. Very nice and couldn't agree more with you in WBT service. Really like that design in the rod...have an old Fox Gladiator that is similar.
  17. I've now ordered "spare" parts twice directly from Fox...first time for some plastic tips that go on the fibre glass rods (one had broken, my fault) for my Evo Classic Brolley and just today the small plastic feet (one had broken, my fault) for a Compact Ruckbox. I did email them first to see if they carried the parts at customerservicesuk@foxint.com in both cases they returned email same day letting me know they had them. Then I called in the order to their Customer Services Dept. 011 44 20 8559 6500, where they took my order, mailing address and credit card info. They figured postage while I was on the line...very quick transaction, ie phone call lasted 5 min 4 secs. Remember they are 5 hrs ahead of EST. Great folks to deal with.
  18. A BIG congrats to ya Dave...I'll echo Scott's remarks. LOL. and YES; a BIG thanks to Saxon as well for the donation.
