  1. allso how they ship if i can remember my charts ohio is 4 days from cali (ground) itll probably have to go 3 day or 2nd day to guarantee thurs if it goes out monday. and to get it early thursday itll definately have to go one of the expited ways so you have it wednesday.
  2. At least they're not "portly". (j/k) Oh no.... now you've gone and done it charlie . Paylakers...... Ive seen a bunch of them and they aint exactly runway models if ya know what i mean
  3. who said anything about thin skinned and you are right no where did you say they should get long rods etc, i was making an analogy, reread my post Charlie i am one of the guys who actually did take up the offer to go paylakin to see how the other half does it. I would love to see a paylaker come home with the gold. and if they did it with some of the homegrown techniques all the better !!
  4. I agree with scott, putting aside the chow issue and i know ill get grief on this statement , but paylake pack bait is just method mix with a different bookcover. John was fishing with his Packbait and he did just fine in fact much better than i did. I didnt use method/pack and was fishing boilies. The method/pack fish outnumbered all the plain boilie boys. I fished atc last year and used my method mix a chicken crumble concoction and caught fish with corn on the hair. now using a bead pick up with packbait etc (true paylake style ) might not work as well but then in all fishing circumstances you have to adapt to the situation. charlie its like saying they should they all go out and buy long rods, baitrunners, beepers, funny lookin nets , and save the short rods and baitcasters for paylakes and resevoirs back home ? not pickin on ya just dont understand the logic. edit got interupted b4 i posted and now see mnay thoughts duplicated
  5. Paul, happy to read you got em out of boilie purgatory!! Unfortunately i have bad news for you they are now holding up certain shipments, looking for fusariose, Latin(Fusarium moniliforme). It seems that this disease has the tendency to cause yield losses by 30%.
  6. Secret weapons ??? No need to call the bomb squad heck they are so secret ... doesn't NJDOC give them any yard time?
  7. all i know is that 25,000 a year for 40 years or a lump sum of 6 figures no matter what it is, for catching a carp, is fine with me. im not gonna put the discounted cash flow charts on this one
  8. oh but you can get someone to buy the annuity if ya want it right away , true you'll not get the whole amount but you can walk with 750,000 maybe a little less, thats alot of lunch money for a while for catching a carp. and 25,000 for 40 years , for practicing your hobby aint too shabby either. id be happy to win and smile all the way to the bank. the annuity is no different than the same type of thing they do for hole in one contests at golf tourneys or the guy who makes the free throw from one end of the court to another. Ill let ya know how it is when i win it
  9. Stewart .... whats the big deal...... everyone knows thats only about 600,000 after taxes.
  10. good luck to all the participants we look forward to hearing and seeing the results.

  14. Are we gonna slay em in the basin with the Valdaam?
  15. the difference is, that prices were posted in a section that specifically states no prices be posted . Forgive me, but what is so hard to understand about that.? What goes on in other sections has nothing to do with the section that keith posted the prices in. Once again he posted prices in a section that specifically says no price listing.
  16. Commercial Corner Rules This section is intended as a service to our list participants and to our paid advertisers in the NACA. Rather than promoting products, groups, etc. in the main discussion threads, please focus any such comments here. Blatant advertising, price listing, etc. is still not allowed. Feel free to point members to this category if asked a question in a discussion thread. id have to agree it probably needs to be reworded just a bit as any mention of a product would be blatent .
  17. Karl, im with you, i dont care if prices are posted , i hit enough links as it is, I only replied as it does clearly say in the heading not to post prices. rules are rules ....just ask phone he's the new sherriff in town. Maybe we should have a vote if prices should be allowed
  18. Good find Pat didnt know they were available like that . Wacker baits however are 43 cents cheaper by the pound Just the retailer in me!!!
  19. Oh NOOOOOOOOO what are we going to do now? Good luck Alice and thanks for your excellent service. Big shoes to fill........ Break a leg Mark
