Just like to give a big F You to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. Got a call saying that my campsite had not actually been flooded at all and if I wanted to re-reserve my site I could. Already made a commitment to work that I'd be in on Monday after I was told it was cancelled. Sorry guys.

Tried Linswood about 30 minutes away and they were booked for the weekend.
Sorry guys, Scott(Spankis) and I will not be making this one. Good luck to all that attend.

Just got a call saying the Bay City Recreation Area where my buddy and I had reservations to camp was closed due to flooding. Wouldn't be open until the 2nd. I really don't want to pay double the amount or more to stay in a hotel.
Might be up in the air at this point until I talk with him.

I have 25 2oz no rolls i got from ebay recently. I also have 20+ 2oz and 20+ 3oz bass casting sinkers I use with lead clips. If it comes down to it I will combine two like you mentioned Bob. I will call it the "Testicle rig" :D

Looks like 14.5 to 15.5 while there....guess I'll have the big in-line no rolls ready
I hear that. Gonna have to make a pit stop at the Cabelas here in Ohio or check out Dundee for some 4-5 ounce leads

Bring the heavy leads boys and girls! Looks like the river is on the rise.

I'm sure I can bring something. Maybe some macaroni/potato salad.

Well the verdict is in guys!
Fished one rod with a paylake rig and one with a hair rig. Had a run with the hair rigged rod but quickly got wrapped up on a ledge and broken off. Fifteen minutes later I get a run on the paylake rod. I get the fish on the bank and what do you know... It's the same fish with the hair rig in its mouth!
The verdict is.... THEY BOTH CATCH FISH!
As you can see the hair rig (corn/foam) is still attached to the carps mouth as well as the hook from the paylake rig.

Well done guys!
Adam, You didn't give us a pigeon update :D

Dale Hollow proves itself again! Well done on the great looking fish.
Also, that dog looks like Master Splinter from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Hey Graham,
I live here in Westerville and fish Alum quite frequently. I plan to fish Hoover as well when the water warms up as I have never fished it before. I spent the fall scouting out some areas I believe would have potential in the Spring. Wouldn't mind meeting up sometime on either water. I will keep in touch.

Search "Nick 95 rod pod"

Good luck to you! I'm sure you'll net a few.

can't believe no one has mentioned a headtorch - easily the most important bit of tackle for night fishing IMO. it completely changed the way I fished.
Good point! I have forgotten mine on a couple different occasions and it makes everything at night a real pain.

Are you looking to actually create a youtube account or just "embed" videos within your post to view?

I think Brian/accordbw has a pretty good list there.
I always bring extra socks and footwear. Nothing ruins my day more than wet feet and cold temperatures.

Could the retailers unknowingly have their data accessed even though they think they are in the clear?

I recently renewed my CAG membership, but I have also bought from tackle shops with my credit card so I don't want to go pointing fingers yet. I try to use Paypal when I can but I don't remember what I've actually used my credit card on. I will check into tonight.

I think it may be too early to speculate at this point, but I would hope the vendor/website would come forward and make an announcement.

Had to cancel my card as well but luckily Chase has already refunded my money.

Looks like mine was hit too....
