  1. By using a thin rubber tubing you just only need to insert it as far as it can go on the tip. Then the other end you can decide on how long you want it, but remember to tie a knot or two so you can attach your line.

  2. I don't remember selling you one? Only sold one last year. What happed with the last section of the whip? The string can be replaced but finding some sort of hollow nylon braided string. Once you find one you can just glue it straight onto the tip by inserting the tip into the string.

    If you can't find the suitable nylon string you you can always use rubber tubing
