You mean the swim you supposedly told Scott that me and Sean were rude to you mark? Even though you never were there or we have never met. But we can always arrange a meet if you would like? And for the record many anglers drive to swim jump, some of us do long campaigns on there driving long distances several times a month and have been for several years. Feel free to take this to pm mark, I'd be interested to know where you get your invisible powers from!

I would not waste your time dean, it's clear who the best anglers are in the country and what bait and tactics they employ. Some of these folks probably still think the earth is flat.
-
I'm not wasting my time getting involved in the anti boilie brigade, I think mine, deans and Brian's results all speak for themselves these past 2 years. Using geography is just an excuse, I caught on river creeks lakes, new waters, established waters, and always had fish the first time they saw the bait. I have even sat 6 feet away and watched them, and caught it all on underwater camera. Carp are carp, it's that simple.

Idaho, hopefully one day I can get to organizing a group trip to France for USA based anglers. The fish are huge over there.
-
Nonsense. Regardless of geography carp are carp. It's that simple, and actually most European carp are raised on pellets before being stocked into lakes.

Enjoy, best urban banx by far

If over rated means they keep catching me lots of thirties and forties then yes they' are over rated! I'll be sure to pass this info onto Kevin Nash and terry Hearn!
-
Dean is correct, it was created due to reduced takes and twitchy false bites. Boilies used to infact be located on the hook, as you can see from this pictures from kevin Nash's book.
Its the most popular carp bait globally, so clearly not overrated overall. It will never be the number one carp bait in the USA for three reasons, cost, socialization and evolution!

Glad you guys liked it, i will post euro urban banx when it's finished, should be here soon. And yes count me in for the Canary Islands, that venue is my kind of thing lol

best hangers for true indication are ones which attach directly to the line via a clip, rather than the line running through the line clip

just got mine, loved it, very unique edition content wise

agree with the shorter hair, i think curved hooks are better for pop ups,
-
Ill carry on with PA, looking forward to a spring fish in on a spot where they like the zigs.

That's why t sucks when certain repeat offenders blow up good big fish swims. Opens it up to activity like this .

make a hair but tie a ring on end, corn on baitfloss, then tie floss to ring

Tie a ring into a hair and use bait floss

One of if not the best DVD I have watched, minimal amount of product detail, mainly blokes fishing and catching some stunners in great locations. Also Big Carp News Contributors carl and Alex are featured on there. Amazing video footage and editing. Big things coming from Nash this year, but ill save that for a rainy day. Can anyone see the big ball maker we all wanted in the video????? ENJOY!!!

and yes, if you use the oils too wear those latex gloves, the oils are the best i have ever used, any halibut oil is brilliant, especially if floater fishing in wind, it makes a slick flat surface
-
in the Uk yes its catfish heaven, infact it was my favorite catfish bait, in the usa im not so sure because your cats will eat corn and fruit boilies which Euro cats wont (which is why cats here are such a nuisance in certain areas). in the UK i would use the pellets, coat them in halibut oil and then wrap in halibut paste. the us strain of cats are very different to our strain in what they eat. initially i was against using these for that reason here, but now im not so sure. thankfully i dont seem to get many cats where i fish.

so because a bait smells terrible it means it wont catch fish? lol

Dynamite Marine Halibut Pre Drilled 16mm Pellets- On another carp forum I've heard the Brits go on and on about Marine Halibut this and Marine Halibut that, so I figured I'd give them a try. First off these things stink! I've smelled catfish stink bait that was more pleasant than these smelled. I couldn't help but think that there is no way a carp would eat this stinking pellet, a catfish maybe, a turtle probably, maybe even an eel, but not a carp. I spombed out a dozen or so in the area I was fishing each session and used them on one rod for 5 days or so. I got 1 small run that I missed or the fish was so grossed out by them that it spit it out. I'm not sure what kind of fish it was, but other than that, no action at all. My opinion is I won't use them again as they were a waste of time in my swim.
to be continued...
My opinion...maybe change swim!!!!

Another funny story here that I includes rob (from the Matt Hayes story). Rob is included in many of my uk angling stories because he's the biggest clutz ever. He was always falling in and having to hang his clothes in a tree to dry, and so spent most days fishing in his briefs, and in France not only did he fall down the 20 steps going from Bivvy to lake smashing ten solar lights on his way, but also had an issue with his reel breaking mid way through playing a fish....so hand lined it in using his teeth to hold the line....yes his teeth, the things we use to cut our mono. And he landed this fish which was over 40lb too lol.
But robs best story was on a small farm lake in bringnorth England. The farmer was mental, and would come over on a quad bike to take your money and a breakfast sandwich order. He would then come back with completely the wrong sandwich every time lol. He had a little jack Russell dog that was very friendly called jack. Well one day rob was having a tough days fishing, missing bites and losing fish, this then got worse when he noticed a mouse in his bait box eating all his sweet corn. He got rid of the mouse turned around to re bait with his luncheon meat......which had now gone. We then see standing ten yards away the jack Russell with a whole tins worth of meat in his mouth, the piece of meat was almost the size of the dog and for ten minutes he chased the dog round the lake to get his meat back unsuccessfully. A very angry rob came back to his swim and as he went to rebait with sweet corn he found the mouse back in his bait box. Lol

The deaf guy story was funny, It takes a lot to get dean rattled and this guy did it, initially by ignoring him and then shrugging his shoulders. I could see steam appearing from deans ears as his walked away stating the guy was rude for not even turning around to acknowledge him. When I discovered he was deaf I could barely walk the few yards to deans swim to tell him why there had been a lack of communication I was doubled up laughing. Brilliant, I have only seen dean yell once, that was it, and it literally fell on deaf ears.

This post is about my opinions. It wasn't intended for folks to dispute my opinions or try to sell bait. Perhaps you should make your own post where you can sing the praises of this bait and that. I have nothing to gain by sharing my findings and opinions. I thought people might enjoy an unbiased opinion for a change.
since you were clearly referring to me in the post (wrongly may i add) as a sales rep/field tester i too am allowed my opinion. any way no point crying over spilled milk (oh wait i did have another cat joke in me)
are boilies over rated???

I'm aware we have never met, so imagine my surprise when Scott is telling me different. Mind you we all know he's a man of his word lol
