  1. You would as you're a gmail user.
  2. I only use my Gmail account to register on forums and websites I'm afraid will SPAM or sell my info.
  3. LOL Luckily they don't physically read them, their computers scan it, searching for keywords and then filing "your" profile accordingly. You can have your own e-mail address for only $20 / year. 100% private and you can choose your name (if it's available). Example: mike@barbelfloat.com and then you can give your friends and family as many e-mail addresses you wish ... XXX@barbelfloat.com You can even make it "va-carper.com" ............. mike@va-carper.com and then anything @va-carper.com for friends and family. I've set up many people with their own. Most do it 3 years at a time. $60 for 3 years is not bad to get privacy and reliability.
  4. Thanks for the feedback guys. "IF" they let mail through, they could still flag it as spam. For anybody reading this I'll explain in case you run into a problem with your mail not being received by others. A host can have multiple domains, all using one MAIL server, thus resulting in the same originating IP for all the domains. Now if you have "Bob's Porn Stars LLC" on that same host MAIL server, and they are spamming people with "FREE MEMBERSHIP, ALL WE NEED IS YOUR CCARD #" e-mails, they will get reported by people like me. I will FLAG them as SPAM in my "gmail" It's then some tech guy in Bangladesh that is suppose to "blacklist" IP with multiple reports, with proof of SPAM.......BUT if he is lazy, he will just place a "global" ban on that IP instead of just the "range" used by "Bob's Website" . It's quicker to just ban the whole IP instead of figuring out what ports are being used. It will stay that way until your domain host get the ban lifted. You as an individual can not get it done. Get rid of gmail, they read and scan all your e-mails anyway ..... why do you think it "free" ? And yes it's legal, you gave them permission to do so by agreeing to the EULA See here why you should never just AGREE to terms :)
  5. If they send them to spam at least people know where to look, but most do not even make it that far. I tested with my Test G-Mail account, sent 100 e-mails from the forum over 24 hours, numbering each one in the heading. Two made it to my spam, the rest never showed up. I had my personal domain e-mail CC'ed and all 100 was there. I hope they the CAG host can sort it out (but I have my doubts since they are as worthless as teats on a boar hog)
  6. UPDATE: Traced the problem back to GOOGLE / GMAIL (and other services using them) They bounce back any mail from CAG. I've contacted CAG's web host and reported the issue. Only they can push the issue with GOOGLE / GMAIL, unfortunately I can't do anything else. Many domains / users have been experiencing blocked / black listed domains for no apparent reason from Google. So for the time being only solution is to use another address.
  7. Don't change anything Jerome, we're trying to figure out why only those north of the Mason- Dixie line is affected
  8. OK, I've reset your settings. Lets see if you get any notifications now.
  9. Regardless of what they tell you, you actually have to post for the counter to go up
