  1. Idaho Chris, you are so lucky that you moved to Idaho. Blackfoot is a north american carp angler's paradise as you can see from Dale and David's threads. Good luck and share your results with us!

Hi all it took me some time but I got the forum thing figgured out I THINK ???

I changed my forum name from Idaho Chris to Idaho Carpin because I couldnt figure some things out and just thought I set it up wrong. ANYWAY

I am excited to make it over to Blackfoot and add some more Mirrrors to my photo album.

I am building a house in McCall Idaho at the moment and there is a pond in the back yard that just happens to have a few BIG Grassies so needless to say my gear is in my truck and I will be baiting it up in the am and setting my poles out first thing WISH ME LUCK. I've yet to catch a grass and hope to change that soon. Look for pics to come

Thanks everyone and let me know if any of you will be headin this way Id love to meet up and meet some other members.

  2. I am new to C.A.G. and was wondering if there are any other members in Idaho?? If not I guess I have my work cut out for me to spread the word and excitement that carp fishing has brought me.

I was also informed of a lake here that is FULL or MIRRORS!!! I have only been carp fishing for about a year now and have to date only cought one mirror. From the Onondaga lake park in Syracuse NY. Now I live in Idaho where we have a lake full of them so next year I intend on having a fishin for anyone that would like to come along. Please let me know if you may be interested so I can further plan this.

  3. I have been carp fishing for only about a yr now. I recently moved back to Idaho and found some ponds with some whopper grassys in them. I plan on trying some fishing there this week and was wondering if anybody has some bait ideas for me to try. The pond is also stocked with trout and I dont want to catch them. So who has some tricks for me to try????

Thanks for any help you guys can lend.

P.S. I plan on having a fish in next spring or summer and OH did I mention its in a MIRROR lake
