I have ordered from all the vendors and some not on the list...plus the 3 major ones in the UK that ship to the USA...even purchase through USA and UK Ebay.....I always use pay-pal and my card did not get hit.....and I purchase all the time . Thats a bunch of BS , hope you guys get your money back. Are you guys using your credit cards direct......or using them through PAY-PAL ? I dont ever use my credit card directly...if they dont take Pay-Pal , I dont do it.

Hey Bait, How about this , I will donate the $25 to CAG in the name of the OHIO chapter and let one of the guys that handle the NEW MEMBERS registration do a drawing like they did for the Saxon rod and give that voucher to a new carper ? Just a thought, if its all agreed, I will pay-pal the funds tomorrow.

Man , I have always wanted to make the trip to Chicago just to visit his shop in person...maybe I need to gather some of the Ohio guys and make a road trip out of it...but I think I should plan it a month in advance..that way we each would have time to save up lots of cash...lol.

I will also say that this float rod was purchased to be used with an Okuma Sheffield centerpin reel , yep i'm FINALLY going to give this style of carp fishing a real try this year. I also have the option of using one of the 12' 2.25TC Stalkers with the centerpin too for a little heavier work.

When I arrived from work today, my "special" order from Wackerbait & Tackle had arrived.....everything was in great shape due to very good packaging (certainly not for UPS taking great care of it of course) and I am VERY happy with my Fox purchases.....what did I get ? thought you would never ask. One - Fox FX 13' 5 rod holdall (not for the rods below, but for long road trips to protect my expensive 13' rods) Two Fox 9' Stalker rods (2.75TC) Two Fox 12' Stalker rods (2.25TC) One Fox 12' Float rod (1.50TC) The holdall is super padded and very well designed and takes care of those who use 50mm butt rings , plus the padded inside flap has a pocket for net handle, shelter (Oval or Brolly) and a bankstick pocket..not on the outside like most holdals. Rods are freakin awesome, crisp blanks, full length chevron design and full cork handles...what all carp rods should have. Hey Iain , Ever thought about making a Saxon Spod rod in 4.5 - 5.5 TC to match the carp rods ? Sure would be a great addition to have a matching set of kit...plus I bet you would design a spod to cover all our needs for spods casted with maise to pouches for casting method balls. Just a thought.

Well finally saw a Saxon rod in person today thanks to Dave.....I must say that is one SWEET rod , which of course means I will have to buy a set (of three) this season for sure. Very impressive Iain ........VERY impressive indeed , my hats of to you mate !!!!
