  1. Congratulation!!!! \\\

yeppers U R HOOKED,,,if you live in the Arlington Area, try fishing Lake Arlington...the area by the Yacht Club....as you pull in, there is the club to your right, then as you go to the left, ther's a fishing pier, then a Boat ramp, then a clearing ...fish the bank there.....several months ago, KIDCARP caught a 6 pound mirror in that spot!!!!!

    WELCOME ABOARD !!!!

  2. That should work for you,,,I prefer a sliding weight, just to keep it down a bit,,,,also here's a tip....get a coke can, or a beer can( drink the contents :D )and fill it up with pebbles or marbles....( no I'm not crazy) put the rod in the holder, open the bail, and wrap some line around the can, Leave the bail open....when a BIGGIE takes it, the line will pay out knock over the can, make a racket, and violla, instant run indicator !!!! if you fish with a closed bail and a biggie hits, :D kiss the rod and reel good bye !!

  3. Hey you guys..

Just talked with Wayne at ACS,,,they got the stuff in from Overseas, and are cataloging it so that might take a while,,,,,,these are pretty cool guys, and the money spent on membership is NOT wasted,,,,,they are just overwhelmed and you know how prompt the mails are from England :D in any event, I'm fairly confident that they will do what's right with the people that have put faith in them, and commence membership when the site is up and running...

Starting a business in todays society when you are reliant on a European supplier , what with the mails they way they are can be tough at best...hang in there !!! good things are coming !

  4. too cool!!!!

you've simply got to tell it like it is....seems like it's not stylish to fish for carp, because you don't need a $30,000.00 BASS boat!!!! just some fork sticks, some corn a stout rod & reel and an easy chair!!!!

if only the BASS fishermen knew that you could drink more BEER fishing for Carp than you could fishing for bass,,,I mean you need 2 hands to give the lure the action it needs....poor guys !!!!

  5. thanks stripped.....

bread??? well that's a new category with a kazillion sub :D categories...white, corn, rye, pumpernickel, whole wheat, grain???? and the list goes on......so far the corn is almost a 2 to 1 margin over boilies :D

and I assume the "CORN VOTERS" are using EURO rigs?!?!?!?

What say you.... Brian, Zach, and those guys that haul the BIGGIES out of Town Lake???
