I am glad to hear you are happy with our products and shipping. Thank you for the nice comments. For the record, Resistance is still owned By Andy Phinn and Dennis Moneypenny. Andy used to take care of all the shipping and I made the leads. Now that Andy is back working full time, and has two young kids, and I'm semi retired I take care of all the operations. Just confirmed by our Systems Admin, the Resistance Tackle Web Site has not been compromised, nor has the Admins system. Resistance is clean. However I still recommend only using the PayPal option at check out. Thank you everyone for bringing this to our attention and for your patience while we proofed our system....Dennis and Andy.

Still no misuse findings by Resistance Tackle's System Administrator and our Security Certificate for our Domain is still in place. The resistance site does not store any credit card data. All of that data is stored at the Admins domain and they are currently validating that they have not been compromised. One Texas Forum had anglers post they were hit but never used Resistance. And with the recent posts by anglers identifying fraud charges on their cards not used to purchase tackle is another flag that this is outside of the tackle shops being the link. Still strongly recommend customers use PayPal at check out. Hopefully this all gets resolved soon. Will keep you informed of any findings on our end.

Thanks...been working on this since Laura Deatherage brought it to my attention via FB early this morning...thanks Laura. To everyone else, we will keep working on this to validate any compromise. Regardless we will upgrade our system to maintain security.

From Dennis at Resistance; Just got the first report from our web administrator, they have not found anything that indicates Resistance Tackle's account having been hacked. Whether our Customers check out with a credit card or use the PayPal option all of our transactions are funneled through PayPal. That is why it is taking us a while to validate whether Resistance, behind the scenes, has been compromised. For what its worth I know Andy's personal card was recently charged fraudulently, and his card is in no way linked to Resistance Tackle. We are also in discussions with them regarding upgrading to a more secure environment just to double up on security. In the mean time Resistance Tackle does and always has offered PayPal as a payment option and you do not have to have a PayPal account.
